For this new SS14 collection, Valentina Brugnatelli has been once more inspired by nature, but this time in the form of a print by Franck Josef, a Scandinavian architect and textile designer she very much loves.
His extravagant and surreal fruits and flowers have been interpreted in playful pearl necklaces,
that combine an architectural construction with soft colors in the tones of lavender blue, powder rose and a shy, soft yellow.
The metal is inspired by the warm golden nordic summer lights. The semi-precious stones and resins borrow from faded flowers colors that give to this collections it's particular sophisticated feeling.
Big transparent and colored bangles are enriched by semi-precious stones and a fine line of black enamel underlines the contrast of colors.
Touches of Swarovski rhinestones add some light here and there to the amazing leaf shaped necklace.
Valentina's jewels reflect her perfectionist character. The sense of quality and attention for the detail are very visible in her collections. Her jewels are definitely "made in Italy" and made to last.
